THE CATEGORIES
Categories F1, F2, F3
Category F1, F2, and F3 fireworks are products that can be sold to the public at large, but should be used only outside and a minimum security distance must be respected. These products do not require a firing permit.
Categorie F1
Cannot be given to people under 12 years old.
Categorie F2
Cannot begin to people under 16 years old.
Categorie F3
Cannot be given to people under 18 years old.
Categorie F4
Category F4 fireworks are professional products. These products require special expertise and are sold only to people who hold a firing permit and on presentation of an acquisition permit.
Categorie F4
Cannot be given to people under 18 years old. They must hold an FWA or FWB firing permit and obtain an acquisition permit.
Categories T1 and T2
Category T1 and T2 fireworks are professional stage products for inside or outside use. These products require special expertise and are sold only to people who hold a firing permit and on presentation of an acquisition permit.
Categorie T1
Cannot be given to people under 18 years old. They must hold a BF firing permit and possess an acquisition permit for inside use. Not necessary for outside use.
Categorie T2
Cannot be given to people under 18 years old. They must hold a BF firing permit for inside use or an FWA or FWB permit for outside use, and be in possession of an acquisition permit.
