Solstice festival in Oensingen – Switzerland’s biggest fireworks display !
On Saturday, 21 March 2026 at 8:15 p.m., on the day when the sun crosses the Earth’s equator and astronomically defined spring begins, the solstice celebration, the Sonnwendfeier will be held in Oensingen (SO)!
The largest and most impressive fireworks display in Switzerland takes place every three years with a spectacular, approximately 60-minute grand fireworks display.
Sugyp is delighted to be participating in the 2026 edition under the direction of the VCO, the Vogelherdclub: an association that preserves the historical customs of Oensingen, but also a passion for fireworks.
Around 50’000 people attend this unique fireworks spectacle and are enchanted by the unique backdrop of Neu-Bechburg Castle and over 100 aerial fireworks.

Public Firework Displays
Sugyp offers you a large assortment of pyrotechnic products for the public at large: rocket assortments, cakes, volcanoes, Bengal matches and pyrotechnic toys etc. These category F3 fireworks do not require a firing permit.

Our Fireworks catalogue in french or german are specially designed for events or 1st August festivities, so you can find a firework display in the catalogue adapted to their needs. For questions, please call us.
Sound and Light firework displays
Setting fireworks and music together harmoniously, is what we offer in our Pyro melodic firework displays; we offer both standard displays or custom-built for you.
Indoor Fireworks and special effects
Sugyp can also produce your inside displays and stage effects. Our pyrotechnists with a BF permit will be able to implement special effects adapted to your event.
Multimedia shows
For several years now, we've been offering shows using these new technologies: image projections, lasers, water fountains, lighting and drones.
Flame shows
Our flame generators, whether liquid or gaseous, fixed or motorized, enable us to put on shows indoors and outdoors, with short safety distances.

The Swiss fireworks industry is facing a major challenge with the Swiss federal initiative to ban fireworks, which endangered our tradition and passion. The Pro Feuerwerk association is actively committed to protecting and promoting our industry in order to guarantee safe and responsible fireworks displays in the future and for generations to come.
Eco-responsibility
As part of our commitment to climate protection, we assume responsibility for the greenhouse gas emissions caused by the production, import, transport and use of fireworks and finance high-quality climate protection projects of the myclimate foundation in the amount of the calculated emissions.
